Dr. Kyle Krupa, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Kyle Krupa is a Physical Therapist and Founder of KRU PT + Performance Lab located in South Florida. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at University of Miami in 2014. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist sanctioned by the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2011. 

With a unique blend of manual therapy and strength training, Dr. Krupa has been able to elevate elite athletic performance by addressing athletic injury and movement dysfunction. Throughout his career, he has treated and trained multiple populations that include Olympic gold medalists, NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and MMA athletes. Dr. Krupa also served as a team physio for the US Sailing at the Pan American Games in Toronto 2015.

Dr. Krupa is also a lecturer and Sports Medicine consultant for FitOps Foundation, a non-profit organization that trains and certifies active military and veterans entering careers in the fitness industry. He has designed and instructed multiple courses and workshops on injury prevention, athlete assessment and screening, and self-mobilization techniques.  On the national level, Dr. Krupa has presented at professional conferences for the American Physical Therapy Association Private Practice Section on topics such as change leadership and employee motivation.

Dr Krupa is passionate about teaching and has previously taught at University of Miami, teaching Athletic Injuries and Performance Enhancement Drugs. In this capacity, he taught future coaches and athletes the foundations of sport-specific training, periodization, overuse and acute athletic injuries, performance supplementation, and drug screening policies and procedures.
