Amanda Bencid
Amanda is a Rehabilitation and Recreational Therapy student at Florida International University with plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her background in athletics, coaching, and injury rehabilitation helps her understand both sides of the performance and recovery process, making her a strong fit for the KRU PT + Performance Lab team.
Before joining KRU, Amanda worked closely with youth athletes, high-school players, and collegiate teams, gaining hands-on experience in athlete support, communication, and performance environments. She also built a strong foundation in marketing and digital media, managing social platforms and creating content for multiple organizations. At KRU, she blends her organizational skills with her creative eye to help clients stay connected, informed, and engaged.
Born and raised in Miami, Amanda has always been surrounded by sports. She grew up playing, coaching, and staying involved in athletics, which sparked her interest in physical therapy and long-term athlete development. Working at KRU allows her to combine her passion for movement with her interest in helping people feel and perform their best.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys playing soccer, traveling, working out, and spending time with friends. She’s known for her positive energy, reliability, and ability to make anyone feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door.
Amanda is excited to continue growing in the PT and performance world while supporting KRU’s mission to help every client move, recover, and live better.
